Accessibility statement
We want EnergyCostHub to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or magnification.
Our aim
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. That includes semantic page structure, a skip link, keyboard-operable menus and forms, labelled form fields, text that meets contrast requirements, and layouts that work on small screens and when zoomed.
How we check
We run automated checks with the axe-core engine on the home page, catalog, model pages, comparisons, state pages and menus. Automated tools find only part of the possible problems, and we have not had a formal external audit.
Known limitations
- Charts have a text label describing what they show, but the individual values are not all available as text on the same page. The numbers behind them appear in the calculator results, tables and state price pages.
- Guides may contain images added by editors. We ask for descriptive text for each image, but it can be missing.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, email info@energycosthub.com with the page address and what went wrong. We will try to fix it.
